Big Time Charlie

Eligibility issues hit the Irish League once again

The Big Time Charlies of The Social Club are back to discuss an absolutely crazy seven days in Irish League football. On Saturday Glenavon beat Glentoran 4-2 with Gary Hamilton hitting a hat-trick but the outcome of the game has been thrown into doubt as it is unclear whether or not Hamilton should have been allowed to play in the game. The previous week's game between Coleraine and Institute is also under scrutiny as there are doubts over the eligibility of both Eugene Ferry and Ruairi Harkin. The panel also look at Friday night football, Cliftonville's spat with the DUP and the conclusion of the Conor Devlin/Jim O'Hanlon court case. We also preview Saturday's trio of derby games and Northern Ireland's clash with Romania in Bucharest on Friday night.
